DVD Rental Vending Machine…

My husband, the girls and I were out yesterday doing a bit of shopping. We came upon a funny looking machine. So, we go and look a little closer at this machine, sure enough it is a dvd video rental machine. Kinda looks like a atm meets vending machine. My husband tells me to press the buttons, so I do. Only to find out that I can rent a dvd for 24 hours for a buck fifty. Now this machine has totally gotten ahold of my curiosity. We were just at the video rental store and rented a few movies just 30 minutes before hand.

Hubby said no, don’t rent any we just picked up some. But, of course I had to! I needed to see if this thing was for real. You pick your movie, they are all new releases. You swipe your credit card and it charges you 1.49$ plus the tax, it came out to 1.58$. Then the machine spits the movie out, kinda like the atm spits out your moola. When you return it, you put it in the machine just like you would your bank card.

We rented “Blades of Glory”. The dvd was in great shape, no skipping or pausing. The only thing that sucks is I have to drive 15 minutes to return it. I will guarantee you that I will be back renting a few movies from the machine again. A buck fifty verses five dollars for a movie rental, why not?

Anyways here is the site: www.dvdplay.net

Check it out for yourself, see if there is a location near you, yada yada yada. I know I will be back renting more.

Finally!

I am finally back! I am so happy to finally be able to sit down and play on the computer for a bit. It has been a hectic couple of months here. August was crazy here as I had all 3 girls home, myself not working. September was super crazy with the girls going back to school and myself going back to work, not to mention the birthdays and company in for a visit.

Miss Bella celebrated her 5th birthday. She is so grown up now. She also started school on the 7th, she is in Kindergarten full time, that means full days 5 days a week. She loves school, I think she more so loves the fact that she takes her very own lunch, just like her big sisters.

Hanna celebrated her 8th birthday on the 14th. She is growing up way too fast. It still seems like just yesterday that we were making the trek to the hospital to see her everyday. She was in for 2 months. But, today she is healthy and growing like your average 8 year old. She loves school, hubby calls her the “brainiac”. She is in grade 3 this year, so hard to believe.

Miss Gracie is doing awesome as well. She is my little fashion diva. Loves clothes, I am sure we will have to put a second on the mortgage for her. This year she is in Grade 1. Her teacher adores her and wishes she could create a few of her. Apparently, Gracie is starting to drop the “i” out of her name and asking her friends and teacher at school to call her “Grace”. She is growing up way too fast!

Hubby is doing awesome. He has his NFL sunday ticket. What more can I say? Just need to make sure he has his munchies in one hand and the Remote in the other, so he can watch the 16 games at once on the tv. All is good then!

Me I am doing great! I love being back to work, this past summer was long. Hubby and I just recently bought ourselves a Much needed washer and dryer. I went the whole summer without a dryer, so everything was hung outside to dry(that is alot of work). We also splurged a little and picked up a king sized bed for ourselveslike why would I buy a brand new bed for one of the girls. My camera crapped out on me a few weeks back, I was happy about that one! Hubby bought me a new camera, a nice shinny new Nikon. I am quite pleased with it. I just need to get out a little more with it though.

It’s great to be back! Hope everyone had a great summer!
